Are you expecting a baby? If so, you're probably thinking about breastfeeding, knowing how important it is for both you and your new baby. But you may feel you'd like to know more. Finding out as much as you can before the birth is the best way to know what's normal for you and your baby, and is a great help in getting off to a good start.

La Leche League Leicester can provide mother-to-mother help, encouragement and accurate information for every breastfeeding mother and family.

We offer free antenatal sessions 'Feeding your new baby', at various Children's Centres across the city. Open to all pregnant women - bring your partner, mum, sister or friend!

We hold friendly, welcoming monthly meetings for all women interested in breastfeeding (whether currently breastfeeding or not!) and their babies, at the Friend's Meeting House, Queens Road, Leicester

We can provide information leaflets on a huge range of breastfeeding issues, both common and specialised
